@thefa
Bonjour,
I have a USG 3P. I tried copying your config.gateway.json file (I copied my hex credentials, of course, into the file), and I get no internet or TV
Do you think this is because you have a USG 4P, and I have a USG 3P?
I have looked at your config file, and you seem to have some special parameters set specifically for the USG 4P.
For example:
"service": {
"dns": {
"dynamic": {
"interface": {
"eth2.832": {
"service": {
"dyndns": {
"host-name": [
"the.host.name"
],
"login": "thelogin",
"password": "thepassword",
"server": "dynupdate.no-ip.com"
}
}
}
}
},
"forwarding": {
"cache-size": "10000",
"except-interface": [
"eth2.832"
],
"options": [
"ptr-record=1.101.168.192.in-addr.arpa,UnifiSecurityGatewayPro4",
"host-record=unifi,192.168.101.12"
]
}
},
Im not sure that this will work.
The method of modifying the 3 files and placing the config.gateway.json has worked well for me. However my config.gateway.json only has internet + IPv6 functioning (no tv). For reference, here is my working config.gateway.json file
