Sorry that I use english, but my french is very bad even if my grandmother was born in France..

I have a product (ending up software tunning) - that will be 1 PORT GPON ONT, but - this signle LAN port is 2.5G.

In general I'am a little vendor for Polish market - we do have LXT-010G-D (1x1G) and - new model (LXT-010H-D) has 2.5G LAN port (copper, 2500BaseT).
It is compatibile with all major OLT vendors (Like ALU/Nokia, widely used by Orange) and also Huawei.

No problem adjusting GPON Serial number and similar config parameters.

you can write to me directly to marcin.kuczera@leolabs.pl

@marcinkuczera is that your website ?

 i can't find that LXT-010H-D

So basicaly with this ONT no need to do some firmware hacks to get 2.5Gbps downstream ?

xBest is our distributor. LXT-010G-D model has 1G LAN port only.
The new model, not yet in commerial distribution is LXT-010H-D (H from highspeed).
From device perspective looks the same, but has a bit different hardware inside.

In general, we use RTL9601D chipset - it has build in 1G LAN, but, it also has HSGMII interface, so in HighSpeed model, device has extra RTL8221B PHY chipset connected with RTL9601D via HISGMII port, so this is how we get 2.5G LAN.
But this is just a hardware part, the other is software (glue between 2 chipsets) and OMCI stack that we have very well tuned.

We do software by ourselves (all source codes etc...)

You mean than the current GE lan port can go above 1Gbps and have a 2.5Gbps link speed ?

In the same time if you control both hardware and software, is there any chance to have the following feature :
- set the vlan id to 832 (used by Orange in France) on the lan interface, it will be more easy to connect to standard device (router, firewall, etc...)
- set Cos to 6 (Vlan priority to 6) only for DHCP Request IPv4 and DHCP-PD Solicit IPv6 to match Orange France requirements, it will be more easy to connect to standard device (router, firewall, etc...)

If you can do that with a correct price, I think a lot of people in France would purchase your ONT Box because we would easily replace the Orange Box (DSL or Fiber) and put a standard device (router, firewall, Wifi Access Point, etc...).

No. From box perspectiver it looks the same, but it is not the same.
Ethernet PHY that is inside 9601D chipset can not go above 1Gbit. There is another interface/port in 9601D that can do 2.5G, but it is not pure ethernet, it is HiSGMII - normally used to connect to SFP port or to another chipset (chipset-to-chipset ethernet link).

And we use this port to connect to additionall ethernet PHY (rtl8221b) - and this extra chipset is connected to LAN port.
In this configuration it can do 2.5G on CAT5e cable.

There is no way to "tune" internal ethernet PHY to run faster, as 2.5G is rather a slower 10G/5G than a faster 1G, so requires some extra DSP operations.

We also need to be able to change the HardwareVersion parameter.
And i agree with @nscheffer, if we can customize all of this then you'll have a lot of french customers...
