Looks like Mikrotik will never support 2500BASE-X on their devices despite the hardware can afford it...
So yes you need to add a device supporting 2500BASE-X before your Mikrotik device.

Regarding "BlackBox LGC220A" media converter not sure if it can afford 2500BASE-X on SFP side. You need to ask the manufacturer...

I'm an user from SFR in Portugal, and I ordered about two weeks ago a CarlitoxxPro SFP. Only after I came upon this topic.
One question that I'm curious, is there any new information if Mikrotik can support 2.5G SGMII. I understand the v2 SFP can, but I'm afraid I will be limited to 1Gbps SFP interface with RB3011 and RB5009 or any other.
o proof if 1Gbps is hardlimit set by OLT or if it's full GPON (I really hope the last)..

As written by Gnubyte in the first post, the CarlitoxxPro v2 is based on a Realtek chip, and only supports 1Gbps.
For 2.5Gbps, you need a SFP with a Lantiq chip : CarlitoxxPro v1, G-010S-A, MA5671A, ...

D'abord, grand merci à tous pour ce si long sujet fort enrichissant et merci Gnubyte pour avoir fait autant avance les choses.

Donc, ma ville vient d'être nouvellement fibré et je suis chez Orange Pro depuis hier avec une LB5.
J'avais déjà préparé en avance et donc tout ce qu'il faut dont un ONT FS, j'ai bien un PLOAM O5 mais pas de retour VLANS.

Oui, comme je disais, quand on est O5, selon la norme, c'est qu'on est O5, les VLANs sont sensés être visibles après l'authentification. Il faut donc paramétrer les options DHCP et demander un DHCPDISCOVER (lancer le client dhcp).

I will try to gather more info, and in the meantime I'll test CarlitoxxPro V2 at 1Gbit.
And also ordered a Huawei MA5671A.
If one of these works, I'm already 90% happy!

Besides, I remember you tested the FS 10Gbit media converter, am I right?
What did you find, and what were the testing conditions?
According to their website, it should support 2.5GBase-X and 2.5GBase-T...

Après avoir lu un bon nombre de pages du topic, je me lance (j’ai créé mon compte LaFibre pour l’occasion). D’abord merci à tous pour la mine d’info et le travail de recherche effectué !

Je suis client Orange Pro avec une Livebox v5, je suis en train de refaire mon réseau sur une base de Mikrotik CRS309-1G-8S+IN (https://mikrotik.com/product/crs309_1g_8s_in), avec pour objectif un LAN 10Gbps fibré entre les pièces de l’appart. Je vais commander le SFP GPON de FS.com (https://www.fs.com/fr/products/133619.html), on verra ce qu’il donnera dans le CRS309, au pire il sera en 1Gb jusqu’à ce que trouve une solution pour négocier le HSGMII (ou, miracle, que Mikrotik patch leur noyal…). Et oui, j’ai bien conscience qu’il manque un routeur dans l’histoire, je n’ai pas encore réfléchi à qui va faire ce job ^^".

Bref, avant de commander apparemment j’aurais besoin d’un Serial Number et d’un LOID, c’est ça ? Je n’ai pas trouvé dans le thread comment récupérer ces infos dans la Livebox 5, j’ai cette page (ci-joint au message, je ne sais pas comment l’inclure inline). J’ai caché les valeurs de peur que certaines d’entre elles constituent un secret qui m’authentifierais sur l’arbre, comme c’est le cas si j’ai bien compris de l’info que je cherche.

Est-ce que l’info se trouve bien sur cette page, quelles sont les colonnes que je dois noter et sous quel format dois-je les envoyer aux commerciaux de FS.com pour qu’ils préconfigurent mon SFP+ ?
