Le guide complet pour USG/USG PRO (Internet, TV, Livebox & IPV6)

Thanks @ybizeul ! Your changes did not stay on jsfiddle, but I was able to figure it out. I finally have internet again on my USG! :)

Have you experienced any issues with new devices getting assigned an IP when your TV is on? When the TV is on (when I say TV, I am referring to the décodeur TV), devices get a strange looking IP assigned to them. But when I turn off the TV, all the devices suddenly get assigned a correct IP. It seems the TV is interfering/blocking DHCP. Im no network expert, so I am not sure how to debug this. It may just be an issue with the config file file that I used from this thread (I force provisioned the USG using @jaydee99 config.gateway.json file).

The other issue might be how I am connecting the Livebox TV to my network. I know a direct connection from the USG WAN 2/LAN 2 port to the Livebox TV is the preferred method. But since my Livebox TV is quite far from where my USG is, I have to connect it through a switch. The image below shows how I am connecting it.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

You must create a network for the TV. Create a new network in the Unifi UI, assign it to the LAN port and set a VLAN. Make sure also you put the orange DNS in network settings (you’re still in the unifi controller). Last, assign the ports the tv STB are connected to that VLAN

Ok, I will do that! Can you explain when you mean by "STB" ? I see in my unifi controller that I can assign the TV network to a specific port on the switch. Is that what you are referring to? Is there a specific VLAN I am supposed to use?

Here's what I have so far:

Looks good to me, as long as your box is somewhere on LAN2, and you set some VLAN ID (like 2)

Then on the port you connect the décodeur to, you set the right vlan

STB means Set Top Box, the "Décodeur" :-)

Thanks so much! I have set those parameters in Unifi, now all I need to do is run the script for the TV. I'm hoping there wont be any errors once I run the script!

I'll report back if it was successful or not :)

Another important detail.

The TV script describes one of the interfaces as "downstreal" igmp proxy. It should be eth2.2

Do you have a copy of the modified script you used? This is mine:

I don't use the script anywhere it's set in the conf. Basically on your script, change eth2 by eth2.2

Ok I updated my script. I'm curious, how did you configure your USG without using the scripts in the tutorial?

I ended up doing command lines and tweaking the json file so in the end the .sh wasn't in sync anymore and I stopped updating it.

Once I saved the json in the controller, I limited the manual interventions in the USG

la dernière version de l'usg (4.4.29.5124210) fonctionne bien ? Peut on profiter de la modification à effectuer pour mettre à jour le firmware de l'usg?
