Hi, is it possible to block specific website or IP address? AKA Parental Control? I want to block some unwanted ads. I checked configuration at 192.168.1.1 but can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible with Livebox5? Sorry for speaking in English but my French is still marginal.

As far as I know there’s no such thing in any Livebox.

can't you do this in the firewall...not easy to manage if you have a long list but...

With the rise of new tools like Encrypted SNI, DOH and TLS 1.3, web filtering is becoming more and more pointless as time goes on.

I don't see any such option under firewall section... Or I'm blind. I have very short list of websites to block (ads on smart tv) so I can enter them manually. However I don't see how. Seems this router is very limited.

in the firewall, select "mode personnalisé", and then you should be able to define an ip addres , or a range of ip, and set the "action" to "reject".
you can see an example here : https://assistance.orange.fr/livebox-modem/toutes-les-livebox-et-modems/installer-et-utiliser/piloter-et-parametrer-votre-materiel/le-parametrage-du-firewall-de-votre-livebox/livebox-configurer-le-firewall-pour-votre-logiciel-de-messagerie_225280-767742#onglet2

Hi,
DNS Adblock is the way for you.
Put personal DNS on TV ethernet/wifi configuration.
Personal DNS is able to block advert URL.
NextDNS, AdGuard DNS and OpenDNS is recommanded.
OpenDNS -> https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227988047-Web-Content-Filtering-and-Security
